As the internet progresses through web 2.0 there is a massive marketing shift occurring online. When the internet was first launched some 20 years ago it was used mainly as a broadcast station to deliver content in a linear fashion. Very little, if any, interaction occurred. Therefore, for the past 19 years we would post content, and make it a one way communication broadcasting center. Things have now changed!
If you, as an online internet marketer, does not pay close attention to the fact that there is a massive shift going on from a broadcasting, one way content deliver system to a community based interaction system, you will miss the boat.

When I started my internet marketing business I tried to learn everything I could get my hands on. All the way from HTML to SEO, to copywriting. Let me tell you, my head was spinning. Talk about internet induced ADD. At the end of one year I didn’t accomplish much at all until I forced myself to st
op learning, and start implementing.
Just be warned, new information products, software, and online marketing techniques come out almost daily. Trying to keep up with everything will put you in analysis mode instead of implementation mode. Analysis mode will not pay your bills. Taking action, however, will.
My biggest advice to any internet marketer is to pick one aspect, perfect it, and then duplicate your efforts. What I mean by one aspect is either affiliate marketing, or product creation. Test a particular online marketing system, make sure it generates income, then keep doing it, profitably, before you move on to another technique.
What I am trying to say is keep it simple. Don’t jump from one internet marketing technique to another. Don’t jump from creating Adsense blogs, to trying to master PPC, all in the same weekend. Get one thing down first, become profitable, and then move on to the next project.
